The Lao Distilling Company is the Lao PDR’s first professional craft gin distillery. Founded in 2022, the company’s vision is to showcase the rich diversity of Lao culture and to create a distinctive brand identity within the global spirits industry.
Their first product is Lao Gin, a contemporary dry gin distilled in small batches in Vientiane. Made from rice and using fresh local botanicals, Lao Gin is distilled slowly in a unique two-step process that softens the alcohol and preserves the fresh, vibrant aromatics, while mirroring the gentle pace of life Laos is famous for.
The result is a smooth, balanced premium gin that reflects the rich culture, relaxed nature, and playful spirit of the Lao people. Truly, the spirit of Laos!
